Luxurious car sales climb in spite of economic woes

Surprisingly enough, luxury automobile sales are climbing . The economy might seem dismal, but vehicle sales in general are beginning to increase . However, a lone brand of luxurious cars was unable to post gains. Volvo really saw a decrease in sales . Volvo ran into a few high profile troubles of late, and sales have not been high . Lexus is because of make amends after being beaten by Mercedes Benz in sales for the first time in months . U.S. domestic luxury brands Cadillac and Lincoln have seen huge increases as well .

Marketing much more high end cars now

Some feel lucky enough to be able to get a new car after years of there being a bad outlook . Several luxury brands have posted enormous gains . USA Today accounts that a 43.8 percent gain within the first nine months of 2010 was reported by Cadillac . Other luxurious brands started reporting some gains as well . Since Sept 2009, 25 percent much more cars were sold by Infiniti, Acura, Audi and Porsche also . There was a 10 percent boost since that same time from BMW and Lexus along with a brand that nobody seems to remember getting a 6 percent boost called Lincoln . Next year, the Lincoln will be advertised much more. This is the plan of Ford Motor Co. Volvo was the only company that did not have an increase. This is out of all the luxury vehicle companies.

Lexus does not sell just as much as Mercedes

In the this past year, there has been a rise in all luxury auto sales. This was after the huge drop in sales after Sept 2009. A 43.8 percent boost was posted by Cadillac for 2010. Of course, it really has only been an 11 percent increase since Sept 2009. Mercedes managed to sell the most high end vehicles since that time, increasing sales by 22 percent since January of 2010 . Lexus sold more automobiles by volume than Mercedes until September, when Mercedes managed to sell much more automobiles than Lexus overall .

Incentives are gone

There aren’t hardly any incentives going around anymore with luxury brands . More individuals buying high end cars and getting auto loans is a good sign. It means that the economy might be returning.
