Film stereotypes flipped around is what Dreamworks makes large business of. Supervillians are (somewhat) human, too, according to the new film “Megamind”. Reviews for “Megamind” are mixed, but it has the star power to make it large at the box office.
'Megamind’ consists of large superstars in it
The movie “Megamind” has the star power that is almost guaranteed to bring in audiences. Ben Stiller has a vocal performance while the major characters are played by Will Ferrell, Tina Fey and Brad Pitt. Ben Stiller's production company is Red hour Films. This company started 2 years ago in beginning the "Megamind" production up.
The ‘Megamind’ plot
The basic idea behind “Megamind” is similar to numerous other Dreamworks films – turn the stereotypical story on its head. The basic superman/superhero story is what "Megamind" is all about. A midlife crisis is something the supervillain gets to when a nemesis is really killed. Should he continue his villainous ways, or ought to he change his ways and do something to help Metro City?
Is ‘Megamind’ really worth experiencing?
Megamind" has numerous reviews. They’re mixed though. In Russia and Ukraine about $9.5 million in sales has already been made by sales. Numerous say "Megamind" is mediocre although there are great moments in it. There is really great voice acting. This makes the account and script not look very good. Some say that Dreamworks does not have as strong of scripts as it could since it is growing so rapidly. Numerous others think that Dreamworks is simply trying to create enough characters to expand on in the future with other films. So have you seen “Megamind”? What did you think?
