A new Barracuda is rumored to be on-going

Many Americans are nostalgic about muscle cars, and there is a rumor that the Barracuda might return. The domestic firms have been making fast automobiles with retro style. There has been buzz about the return of classics for a while, and the Barracuda in particular. The Barracuda had been a Plymouth, which actually doesn’t exist anymore. The Barracuda comeback

USA Today reports the design head of the Chrysler organization and head of Dodge, Roger Gilles, made an appearance at the Specialty Equipment Market Association trade show, or SEMA. Only people within the auto industry are able to show up to the event. New projects was a question he was asked. Barracuda had been something he happened to mention. For a long time, people kept asking him about it. Bringing it back is something he seems severe about. It would not be a bad idea to bring back the Barracuda, although it isn't set in stone. It isn't that unreasonable. Retro updates have happened on the Chevy Camaro and Ford Mustang recently. The Dodge Challenger and Dodge Charger both returned successfully also. Barracuda was made by Plymouth though. That company is long gone.

MOPAR muscle classics

The Plymouth Barracuda was an incredibly popular car among muscle cars. Plymouth made cars that had serious performance for a significant bargain. You can get a 273-cubic-inch V8 or 6-cylinder in the first generation which cost about $2,500 from 1964 to 1966. The car then transformed to a 426-inch Hemi V8 in 1967. Those model years with a Hemi 426 or a 440 are prized for mind boggling raw power, and the ultra-rare HemiCuda convertible is one of the most valuable cars within the world. In 1974, production ended.

Plymouth was done

Since 2001, there has been no Plymouth brand. If Chrysler were to bring back the Barracuda, it would need to be under the Dodge or Chrysler name.
