Gmail user interface can be a part of Google Voice software

Whether a phone is a land line, desktop virtual phone or cell phone, everybody wants to be able to make free calls within the United States and Canada. It’s enticing to everyone except traditional phone and cellular service providers, that is. Now that Google Voice will soon be completely integrated into Gmail, it will be that much easier for Google users to make and receive high-quality calls for free. Free calling is limited a little bit. It can only be done where you are able to access Gmail. Article source – Google Voice now built-into Gmail user interface by Personal Money Store.

Google Voice makes your contacts in Gmail an effective phone service

Just because cell phone coverage isn’t there doesn’t mean you shouldn’t be able to make calls. Just use Google Voice with any internet connection. Two cents per minute is the rate if the call is outside the U.S. or Canada. TechCrunch reports that all it takes is the Google Talk plug-in for your browser. Your Gmail inbox saves voicemails and your Gmail interface allows you to make and receive calls. And here’s a neat function: you are able to transfer a call in progress from Google Voice on your desktop to your cell phone without dropping the call if you are on the go but need to keep talking.

There can be Google Voice in Gmail within the near future

The Official Google Voice Blog says that United States Gmail accounts will get the Google Voice feature in the next few days. Watch for “Call Phone” to show up in your Google Chat list. Google users who are using Google Apps for academic or business purposes will also be able to enjoy the new Google Voice features and free calling, but integration will take slightly longer in that case.
